Description

Low Cross is a medieval wayside cross located on the east side of Spaunton Road in Appleton-le-Moors. It is made of sandstone and is roughly shaped as a monolith, standing approximately 1.25 metres high. The cross features a circular hole drilled through it and is raised on a cobbled octagonal pavement.
