Description

Sellars House is an early 19th-century house located on Headlands Road in Appleton-le-Moors. The front is made of coursed rubble limestone, while the sides are rendered. It has a pantile roof and rebuilt brick stacks. The house features a central stairhall plan and is two storeys high with a symmetrical front that has two windows. The central entrance consists of a four-panel door beneath a rectangular fanlight, all set within a lattice gabled porch that has scalloped bargeboards. The windows are sashes with stone sills and heavy, plain lintels. The right end has a coped gable and end stacks.
