Description
This boundary stone, dating from the early 19th century, is located approximately 870 metres south of Tidkinhow Farmhouse. It is made of roughly-dressed limestone and has a tapered shape, measuring about 25 centimeters square at the top and standing one metre high. The stone is inscribed with the markings 'SK A.W.D 1814 T.C. 1856'. It marks the former boundary between the parishes of Guisborough and the former parish of Stanghow.
