Description

This building is an outbuilding, likely originally a cowhouse with a loft above, now used as a store. It dates from the early 18th century and features a cruck-frame structure encased in coursed sandstone rubble, topped with a pantile roof. The building is 1½ stories high with a three-bay front. There is a horizontally-hung plank door located at the left end, while the other openings consist of small fixed light windows—one in the center of the ground floor and another at the right end for the loft. Inside, the loft floor beams are chamfered, and there are three pairs of raised crossed-apex crucks with collars.
