Description
Manor Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse built of dressed sandstone, topped with a pantile roof. It features a central stairhall plan, is two rooms deep, and includes a rear service wing. The building has a two-storey, three-window front. A 20th-century door is set within a pilastered door-case that has a cornice, and it is accessed by stone steps. The windows are 16-pane sashes with stone sills and heavy plain lintels, and there is a stepped eaves course. The gables are coped and have kneelers carved as coils, with stacks at each end.
Inside, there is an open-string, dog-leg staircase with turned balusters, a newel, and a moulded handrail that is ramped up, along with shaped tread ends. The ground-floor front rooms have panelled shutters and window recesses. Notably, in the ground-floor front room to the right, there is a fine Art Nouveau fireplace.
