Description
This boundary stone, dating from the early 19th century, is located approximately 1,400 metres south of Tidkinhow Farmhouse. It is made of rough limestone and measures about 30 cm by 37 cm, standing one metre high. The stone is inscribed with the letters 'S.K. A.W.D 1814 T.C. 1856'. It marks the former boundary between the parish of Guisborough and the former parish of Stanghow.
