Description

The churchyard cross, located approximately 2 metres south of the porch of St Matthew's Church, is a medieval structure that was restored in the late 19th century. It features a limestone shaft that is chamfered and broach-stopped, standing at about 2.75 metres tall, and is set on an octagonal base that is 0.5 metres high. The cross itself, dating from the late 19th century, has bifurcated arms.
