Hasty Bank Farmhouse is a house consisting of two builds, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of sandstone and limestone rubble, topped with a pantile roof and features brick stacks. The layout includes a central hallway entry and is 1½ rooms deep. The building stands two storeys high and has three windows on the first floor. The entrance consists of a four-panel door, which is flanked on the left by a three-light casement window with a wooden lintel and on the right by a three-light Yorkshire sash window with a stone lintel. There is a straight joint to the right of the door. On the first floor, there is a two-light Yorkshire sash window flanked by two three-light Yorkshire sashes, all of which have wooden lintels. The gables are adorned with copings and shaped kneelers, and there are stacks at the ends of the building.
