Description
This building is an outbuilding located approximately 2.5 metres north of Arncliffe View on High Street. It serves as stables, a garage, and a public toilet. The structure dates from the 18th century and is built on earlier foundations, with alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed from tooled sandstone and features a pantile roof. The building is single-storey and consists of a four-bay range with the gable end facing the street. There are garage doors at the far left end beneath a painted timber lintel, and to the right, there are two 20th-century board doors beneath plain lintels. A 20th-century part-glazed door is located at the right end, next to a small pivoting window. The gables are coped, and the gable end facing the street has had 20th-century openings added. This building is included for its group value with nearby structures.
