Description
Rose Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th century, with later alterations made in the late 19th century. It is constructed from squared sandstone and features a timber porch. The roof is made of pantiles and has been rebuilt with polychrome brick stacks. The house has a single-cell, direct-entry plan, along with a rear extension. It is two stories high and has a two-window front. The entrance consists of a six-panel door located beneath a gabled lattice porch, positioned to the right of a four-pane sash window with a stone sill. There are two similar windows on the first floor. The ground floor openings have plain lintels, and there are end stacks. The property was unoccupied at the time of the resurvey.
