Description

Birchenwood Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early to mid 19th century. It features chequer brickwork and a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has four bays, including a stack bay. On the front, there is a blank stack bay to the right of the centre. The left of the centre bay has a gabled porch with an archway. The other bays contain three-light segmental head casements, while the first floor has four two-light segmental head casements. All the windows are leaded. The roof is hipped, with a ridge stack over the stack bay and additional stacks on the hips.
