Description
Flying boat hangar, now recreation hall. Built in 1917, it features a steel framed structure with a gabled roof and corrugated iron cladding. The rectangular plan hangar is of 'K+' type, covering an area of approximately 972 square metres. It has continuous glazing below the eaves and a set of sliding double doors. The interior includes steel lattice girders. This hangar is part of an outstanding group of aircraft hangars dating from the 1914-1918 period.
