Description
Slater's Bridge is a 17th-century packhorse bridge located over the River Brathay in Little Langdale. Constructed from slate and natural boulders, the bridge features a large boulder in the middle of the stream that supports a segmental arch with a span of 15 feet and voussoirs measuring 3.5 feet. The bridge also has a flat causeway made from a single slab resting on slate supports.
