Three Shires Inn is an 18th-century building located in Little Langdale. It features slate walls and a slate roof, and stands two storeys tall. The ground floor has a modern door and two 12-paned sash windows, while the upper floor has four 12-paned sash windows. On the left side, there is a lean-to slate verandah that serves as a porch.
