Description
This is a barn located at the north end of Bannisdale Head, likely dating from the 17th century. It is constructed from stone rubble and features a slate roof on part of the building. The west elevation has a barn entrance without doors, accompanied by a cross wall to the left. At the north end, there are two entrances and a roof, while the south end has two small openings and a two-light wooden framed window above, but no roof. The east elevation includes a later outshut under a catslide roof, with several entrances, although the roof is partially collapsed as of 1987. Inside the north end of the barn, there is a cruck truss with a tiebeam, collar, and principal rafters, which are likely reused materials.
