Description
Three houses, dating from the late 17th century. The building is constructed of painted stone rubble, with some roughcast, and has a slate roof. Originally six bays, the first three bays were likely stables, featuring a hipped roof. The fourth bay is plastered, while the sixth bay incorporates a fire window. The windows are casements; those in the original stables have lintels made of slate. A glazed lean-to extension from the early 20th century is attached to the fourth bay. The entrance to the Barn End section is accessed via stone steps. Gable-end stacks are present on the original house.
Bull Close, the right-hand section of the building, retains a number of original interior features including chamfered beams, a fireplace bressummer, and a spice cupboard in the rear wing (lacking a door). A spiral stair is constructed from oak baulks, with an original panelled door at the foot. The first floor contains plank and muntin partitions and two-panel doors.
