Description

Skelwith Bridge is a traditional stone bridge that crosses the River Brathay, connecting Lancashire and Westmorland. Although it reflects local architectural style, it is of modern date. The bridge features two segmental arches with triangular cutwaters at the center and has almost level, solid parapets.
