Description

Wood Farmhouse is a building from the 17th and 18th centuries located in Troutbeck. It features thick stone rubble walls that are covered with roughcast and has an old slate roof with a round chimney on the east end. Attached to the west end is a stone rubble barn and shippon, both under a continuous roof. The east end has a low two-storey addition from the 19th century, which includes a bay window. The main central portion of the farmhouse is three storeys high, with two doors located under lean-to porches, three small windows on the first floor, and two on the second floor. The section to the west has four larger windows on each floor. The interior is said to be good.
