The arbour in the garden at Dove Nest, located to the south of the house, dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of stone rubble and features a castellated roof. The entrance is semi-circular arched, and the interior is half-spherical. Notably, Mrs. Hemans wrote "The Boy Stood on the Burning Deck" in this arbour.
