Description
Seatle Farm Cottage is a house, likely dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of stone rubble, with roughcast plastering to the front and right return. The two-storey, two-bay dwelling features small-paned casement windows; the window in the first bay of the ground floor has a segmental head, while the window in the second bay has fixed glazing. A gabled porch fronts the house, and a gable-end stack is present. Attached to the left is an outbuilding with paired pivoted doors accessed by steps. At the rear, a gabled wing extends to the left, along with a former barn. The barn has windows and entrances with slated lintels, garage doors, and a pair of pivoted doors facing each other. The house has a casement window on the ground floor, and a sash window with glazing bars and horns on both the ground and first floors. The outbuilding includes two entrances, one with a cambered arch, as well as a small window.
