Description

Bleacrag Bridge is a bridge over the River Winster, likely built in 1816. It is constructed of stone rubble and features an elliptical arch with straight parapets that have limestone coping. On the south side of the north parapet, there is a plaque marking the county boundary, which reads: "BLAYCRAG BRIDGE/RIVER WINSTER/LANCASHIRE WESTMORLAND/F 1816 B/88.6 59.6/CARTMEL BEETHAM". A bench mark has also been added.
