Description
Glencoyne is a group of farm buildings attached to Glencoyne, dating from the early 17th century. The buildings are constructed from white-washed stone rubble and feature a slate roof with stepped gables and two prominent round chimneys. The structure has two storeys, with a central gabled porch. There are five small-paned windows on the ground floor and four above, all deeply set in thick walls. The building is built into the hillside, with the east end being lower. A rear wing was added around 1700. The adjoining farm buildings on the east end are arranged in a long rectangular plan and have segmental headed windows, likely from the 19th century. Inside, there are features such as beams, cupboards, a staircase, doors, and a plaster panel dated 1629.
