Description
Glenridding House is a Regency-style square house built with scored stucco and features quoins and a hipped slate roof. It has two storeys. The ground floor includes a central French door flanked by two long sash windows, while the upper floor has three windows. A distinctive verandah made of cast iron trellis-work in a "Chines" design is supported by five round arches and clustered columns, leading to a balcony on the first floor. The lakeside facade showcases three 12-paned sash windows on the upper floor and two canted bay windows below, both adorned with iron balconies. The verandah and balconies extend around to the rear of the house. The former stables to the north have been omitted from the listing.
