Description

Lane Head is a building from the late 16th and 17th centuries, constructed from colour-washed stone rubble and topped with an old slate roof that is stepped at the gables and features thicker slates. The structure has two chimneys and a modern lean-to porch. It has seven modern casement windows on each floor, and the building is two storeys high. Inside, there are said to be cupboards dating from 1660 and 1690.
