Description

Wilson House Bridge is a bridge over the River Winster, dating from the 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of dressed stone and features a segmental arch with a keystone, along with a band and a coped parapet. The bridge is likely associated with the 18th-century ironworks of Isaac and John Wilkinson, which were located on the site of the current farm, where cast iron waterpipes can still be found. It was probably built by them as part of their drainage scheme.
