Description

Calley Bridge is a bridge over Dacre Beck, located in Matterdale. It was built in 1820 and features an inscription that reads "I PARKER I TODD 1820". The bridge is constructed of dressed stone and has a segmental arch with a hood band. It has a straight parapet with chamfered coping and the inscription is located on the west parapet. The bridge is supported by flanking raking abutments. Part of the bridge is also situated in Dacre civil parish.
