Description
This is a farmhouse with an adjoining barn, built in 1814. The date and the name "John Stockbridge" are inscribed above the entrance. The farmhouse and barn have walls rendered with painted incised details and a graduated greenslate roof with stone chimney stacks. The farmhouse is two storeys and two bays wide, with the barn to its left, both under a common roof. It features a 20th-century door and sash windows in painted stone surrounds. The barn includes a central segmental cart entrance at the rear, along with flanking plank doors. A further 20th-century extension to the barn is not considered to be of interest.
