Description
Low Fold Farmhouse is a house with an adjoining cottage, now combined into one property. The house dates from the 18th century and has undergone later alterations, while the cottage is likely older. The exterior features roughcast rendered walls and a slate roof adorned with blue glazed ridge tiles. There are three chimneys with slate drip stones. The building has two storeys. The house includes a 20th-century porch, with a 19th-century sash window on each side and two additional sash windows above, all featuring glazing bars. To the right, there is a mounting block. The cottage has a slate canopy over the front door, with small casement windows on either side and two sash windows above. Inside, there are plank and muntin partitions and a small panelled cupboard that bears initials and the date TH 1742.
