Description
Beckside Farmhouse is a house dating from the early 19th century. It features stone walls with roughcast render, limestone quoins, and a cill band at the first floor. The roof is covered with slate and there are stone chimneys at each end. The building is two storeys high and has a four-panelled front door set in a stone surround, topped with a triangular glazed fanlight and a stone slab porch. On the ground floor, there are two 8-paned sash windows on either side of the door, while the first floor has three 6-paned sash windows. The small garden at the front is enclosed by slate walls and plain iron railings, with a gate supported by limestone posts. Inside, there is a 19th-century staircase and woodwork.
