Description
This boundary stone, located west-south-west of Trentishoe Barrows, dates from the post-Medieval period. It is made of slate and stands upright at a height of 0.8 metres, with a width of 0.72 metres and a thickness of 0.12 metres. The west face of the stone is inscribed with the letters "CM," while the east face features the letters "TM." This stone marks the boundary between the parishes and manors of Combe Martin and Trentishoe. It is noted as one of the better-preserved examples among a group of similar boundary markers along the parish boundary.
