Description
TRENTISHOE SS 64 NW 2/139 Boundary stone, west-south-west of - Trentishoe Barrows at SS 625 475 GV II Boundary stone. Post-Medieval. Slate. Upright stone 0.8 metres high, 0.72 metres wide and 0.12 metres thick. Inscribed on west face with letters CM and on east face TM. The stone marks the boundary between the parishes and manors of Combe Martin and Trentishoe. Source: Exmoor National Park Field Survey. The stone is one of the better preserved in a group of similar boundary markers sited along the parish boundary.
