Description
This boundary stone is located on the north-west side of Trentishoe Down. It dates from the post-medieval period and is made of slate, measuring 1.40 metres long and 0.57 metres wide. The stone is inscribed with the letters "CM" at its north end and lies in a ditch, marking the boundary between the parishes and manors of Combe Martin and Trentishoe. It is part of a group of similar boundary markers along the parish boundary.
