Description

TRENTISHOE SS 64 NW 2/141 Boundary stone west of Trentishoe - Barrows approximately 0.7 metres east of rear bank to The Glass Box at SS 626 477 GV II Boundary stone. Post-Medieval. Slate. 0.6 metres high, 0.66 metres wide and 0.15 metres thick. Inscribed on east face with letters TM and on west face with letters CM. The stone marks the boundary between the parishes and manors of Combe Martin and Trentishoe. Source: Exmoor National Park Field Survey. The stone is one of the better preserved in a group of similar boundary markers sited along the parish boundary.
