Description
Rose Cottage is a cottage that dates from the 18th to 19th century, constructed from slobbered rubble with triple ridge tiles and a stone stack on the left. The building has a plan consisting of two cells and a cross passage. It is one and a half storeys high and features two bays. The left side has two-light leaded casements, while the ground floor has a two-light casement on the left and a four-light ogee-headed leaded casement to the right of a central plank door. A pentice porch with triple ridge tiles is present. The cottage is adjacent to Myrtle Cottage on the left, which shows evidence of a lowered roof pitch on its adjoining wall, and Wayside is located to the right. The cottage is primarily listed for its group value.
