Description

This is an anonymous chest tomb located approximately 6 metres south of the chancel of the Church of St. Mary in Throwleigh. It is likely from the late 18th century to early 19th century and is made of granite ashlar. The tomb has a rectangular shape with plain sides, featuring a chamfered plinth and a thick soffit-chamfered lid. Any inscription that may have existed has worn away over time.
