Description
Uphill House is a house from the early 19th century, with later additions at the rear. It features solid roughcast walls, likely made of stone, and a slated roof. There is a chimneystack on each gable. The house has a double depth plan, probably four-square, with a staircase located in the center of the rear section. It stands two storeys tall and has a symmetrical front with three windows, which are sash windows with glazing bars. The entrance includes a six-panelled door and a porch supported by two granite columns that hold up a wooden entablature.
