Description

Forder Bridge is a clapper bridge located in Widecombe-in-Ponsworthy, crossing a stream just north of the ford known as "The Splash." It likely dates from the 18th century or early 19th century and is constructed of granite. The bridge features two spans and has a rough central pier. The top of the bridge is just over 2 meters wide and is made up of four large flat stones.
