Description
This barn, located about 20 meters south-east of Corndon Ford Farmhouse, dates from the 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of granite rubble and has a slated roof. The barn is one storey high and may have a loft. It features a large barn doorway with a plain wooden lintel, positioned off-centre to the left, and has a pair of old plank doors with wrought-iron strap-hinges. To the right of the doorway, there is a small slit window, and to the left, under the eaves, is a small loft window. At the right-hand end, there is a smaller doorway with a plain granite lintel. The interior has not been inspected. This barn is part of a good group with Corndon Ford Farmhouse, which is situated on the opposite side of the yard.
