Description

The Pellow headstone, dated 1774, is located approximately 1.5 metres south of the Church of St Thomas in Sourton. This headstone is made of slate and features a square head with a carved winged angel's head and scrolls in relief. The epitaph is inscribed below in upper and lower case lettering with serifs.
