Description

The County Bridge Stone, located on the north roadside approximately 80 metres east of Holne Bridge, is an early 19th-century small upright stone with a rounded top, built into the hedgebank. It features the letter "C" carved on its face. This stone marks the extent of the roadway adjoining the bridge that the County was obliged to maintain.
