Description

The gate piers, located approximately 25 metres west of Wonson Manor, date from the 19th century and incorporate earlier caps, possibly from the 17th century. They are constructed of granite ashlar and stand on either side of the driveway leading to Wonson Manor, with a third pier situated nearby on the left side. These piers are tall and relatively slender, featuring a square section. The reused caps are soffit-moulded and topped with balls on pedestals.
