Description

This is an L-shaped range of farm buildings located about 15 metres northeast of Higher Hisley Farmhouse. Likely built in the 17th or 18th century, these structures largely maintain their early 19th-century appearance or earlier. They are tall buildings made of granite rubble and consist of two or three different construction phases. The roofs are half-hipped and covered with corrugated iron, having originally been thatched. The buildings form a cohesive group with the farmhouse, and it is said that they contain an old cider press.
