Description

Pethybridge Cottage is a cottage that likely dates from the 17th century. It is constructed of roughcast stone or cob and features a thatched roof that is half-hipped on the left side. The right-hand gable has a granite rubble chimneystack topped with a projecting stone course. The cottage is two storeys high and has irregular fenestration, with two-light wood casements that contain leaded panes. There are two windows on the ground floor and one above. The doorway in the right-hand gable features a late 16th or early 17th century door with 12 panels, which has moulded and studded frames; this door was likely brought from another location. The interior has not been inspected.
