Description
Cullabine Farm is a large farmhouse dating from the late 18th to early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick sitting on an ashlar plinth, topped with a slate roof and 20th-century brick stacks. The building has a rectangular plan with an axial corridor at the rear that provides separate access to the service area. There is a 20th-century flat-roofed porch on the east side, which is not of special interest. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has a cellar.
The symmetrical east front features three windows, each with 16-pane sashes and gauged brick heads. The central entrance has a six-panel door, now with four glazed panels, and is topped by a fanlight flanked by fluted pilasters. To the left side, there are three large 16-pane sashes and one blind opening that is painted to imitate a sash window. The service area at the rear has four 8-pane sashes.
On the north front, which faces the farmyard, there are three large 16-pane sash windows, one of which is painted to imitate a sash window, along with three 8-pane sashes. The roof is hipped and features off-the-ridge stacks. The interior is not accessible but may contain original features.
