Description
The Reeves family monument is located in the churchyard of the Church of St Mary, approximately 11 metres northwest of the tower. This pedestal monument commemorates members of the Reeves family, with the earliest inscription dedicated to William Reeves, who was the son of John and Sarah Reeves and died in 1816. The monument is made of sandstone and features a square base that originally had a cast iron railing. It has plain inscription panels on three sides, including one for John and Sarah Reeves of Crickley Farm. The monument is topped with a capping that has a moulded margin and a curved pyramidal upper capping stone that culminates in a pointed finial.
