Description
No. 3 Turners Court is a small cottage that dates from the 18th or 19th century. It features painted brickwork with some remnants of timber-frame construction and has a tile roof. The building spans the alley that connects to Church Street through No. 83 and includes a small one-storey wing that has been added. It is two storeys high and has two windows. The first floor has two-light 19th-century casements with horizontal bars, while the ground floor features a three-light window. There is a 20th-century door in the return wing. The rear of the building has two- and one-light 19th-century casements located at eaves level. The interior has not been inspected. This cottage is a characteristic minor building situated in the inner part of a burgage plot.
