Description
This is an unidentified chest tomb located in the churchyard of the Church of St Bartholomew, approximately 7.5 meters south of the Voyce monument. It is likely from the mid-18th century and is made of stone. The tomb features a flat lid with a moulded edge and a slight indent on each corner along the long side. The sides have fielded panels framed with rectangular quarter balusters, an egg and dart capital, and a gadrooned swelling. The ends are similar but have a framed narrow edge of pilaster and are set into the ground. The inscription on the tomb is illegible.
