Description

Lucia House is a detached house located on the north side of Trinity Street in Tewkesbury. The core of the building dates back to the 17th century, with a significant refronting in the 18th century. Constructed with a timber frame and a Flemish bond brick facade, it has a tile roof and a brick stack. The house is a steep-roofed block, running parallel to the street, with a heated room located to the left. The brick front is two storeys high and features a three-window arrangement, with all windows being two-light casements beneath wooden lintels. A 20th-century door is centrally positioned, framed by pilasters and topped with a steep pediment on a pulvinated frieze. Deep eaves boards run along the roofline. An external brick stack is visible on the left gable wall, faced or rebuilt in unpainted brickwork. Some original timber framing is visible in the gable on the right side, above a later gabled wing. The rear wall is constructed using box framing with painted brick nogging, including two fixed lights: a lower one on the left and a single light at the eaves on the right. The interior of the house has not been inspected.
