Description
This chest tomb, made of limestone, is located in the churchyard of the Church of the Holy Trinity, approximately 5 metres north of the chancel. It dates from the late 16th century or early 17th century. The south side features a paired inscription panel divided by a raised rectangular panel. Each corner has square-sectioned balusters with raised margins. On the north side, there are paired fielded diamonds separated by a raised rectangular panel, along with fielded lozenges at either end. The tomb has a thick capping with a moulded margin, but it has suffered significant damage from vegetation.
