Description

A group of three chest tombs located in the churchyard approximately 8 meters north of the nave of the Church of the Holy Trinity. These tombs date from the late 17th century to the early 18th century and are made of limestone. The group includes two chest tombs with bulbous ends, recessed side panels, and thick moulded tops; one of these features a brass plate inscribed by Cook in memory of Elizabeth Fowler, who died in 1784. The third tomb is a plain rectangular chest tomb with oval side panels and a carved east end.
