Description

This description covers a group of two chest tombs located in the churchyard, approximately 2 to 7 meters north of the Church of St. James. The tombs date from the late 18th century and early 19th century and are made of limestone and sandstone. One tomb features recessed rectangular inscription panels dedicated to John Gabb, while the other has incised sides and shield panels at the ends, inscribed to James Nichol, who died in 1800.
